LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS UNION COUNCIL 82 & DN INSURANCE AGENCY LLC DEVELOP VOLUNTARY LIFE PLAN FOR MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Over the past few years, increasing numbers of members have inquired about being able to purchase additional Life Insurance Benefits through their union. DN Insurance Agency and the Colonial-Paul Revere Insurance Company, a specialist in Voluntary Products, has developed a Life Insurance plan that can issue up to $50,000 of Term Insurance benefits on a Guaranteed Issue basis*. Additional amounts may be purchased, up to $500,000. There are also 3 choices of Term plans, 10, 20 or 30 year level premium, level benefit plans. This simply means that your benefits will not change and premium cannot change during the term of the policy. Spouses may purchase benefits for the same 10, 20 or 30 year period, up to $50,000. Children riders are available in amounts up to $10,000. For all policies, Disability Waiver of Premium and Accidental Death Benefits may also be added to your policy.
In the next several weeks, representatives from Colonial-Paul Revere will contact you to answer any questions that you may have and to complete an application for the amounts that you select.
* Guarantee issue requires 15% participation.

Members that work with employers that have allowed the use of payroll deductions for premium payments may now go online to enroll in life insurance coverage. Currently The State of New York and The City of Auburn have allowed for payroll deductions. Auburn Members will be able to go online after August 30th to enroll and other Municipalities will be allowing payroll deduction of premium in the coming weeks. Click here to learn more. (Doc)
